The Matt Stedman Band is a performance based band that entertains for festivals, weddings, corporate events, private events, & live music venues locally, nationally, & internationally. Chicago, Chicago's North Shore, the Suburbs of Chicago, Colorado, Canada, and beyond. We perform authentic, quality music & we encourage you to listen.
We offer a duo, trio, 4 piece, & 5 piece band. We are unique because we are touring artists performing at festivals & live music venues, but also specialize in performing weddings. Most touring bands do not perform weddings, & most wedding bands do not tour performing live music. The Matt Stedman Band is Chicago's best wedding band because we are so much more than a typical "wedding band". We are a REAL band! We perform real music & create a fun, party atmosphere. The Matt Stedman Band was hands down the best choice we made in the wedding process - and they made it so easy for us! Between their excellent website with tons of audio samples, emails letting us know where they were performing, we were able to see them live and book them within a week of finding them online. They delivered 110% - people swarmed the dance floor all night long. Not to humblebrag, but many of our guests said that this was the best wedding they had ever been to, and I sincerely believe that The Matt Stedman Band was a HUGE part of those compliments. I would hire them again in a heartbeat - and crash any wedding where I heard they were playing!

Matt and the band were professional in all matters leading up to and during the event. Beyond that, their musicianship and performance were top notch. They were a perfect wedding band since they could do all ceremony music, emceeing, and reception music, but they are also more than "just a wedding band." They are professional quality, creative musicians with a lot of style and enthusiasm. Very much entertainers. They were even so cool to learn my favorite song (as a surprise to me - what a great moment). We got a lot of great feedback about them from our guests, and we could not have been happier. Rock on, guys. |

The Matt Stedman Band performed at our wedding on January 21, 2012. Matt is very professional and easy to work with. We loved the violin and guitar music played for the ceremony, piano/keyboard for the cocktail hour and the live 5-piece band for the reception. Everyone was dancing and had a great time! We would recommend the Matt Stedman Band for your big day or any live music event. |
